We are looking for a Junior System Analyst to join our team on-site at Dahlgren Naval Base in King George, VA! The Junior Analyst shall assist in the maintenance and development of tools for analyzing missile performance pre and post launch. This includes code reviews and updates requests from maintained code repositories as well as additions in areas lacking. The successful candidate will have Matlab and/or Python coding experience. Furthermore, the candidate shall be willing to utilize existing functionality within current Simulations and Hardware including but not limited to Ship/Submarine Environment & Missile Simulation (SEMS), Guidance Test Set (GTS), Tomahawk External Data Extraction System (TEDES) and Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control Software (TTWCS) for test development and performance studies.
Work location initially will be 100% on site with limited (possibly 10%) telework in the future.
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
The core responsibility of this candidate will be supporting new Tomahawk integration efforts for new missile variants, new customers, and external interface changes and updates.
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
